IM Night - Anything Goes!

It's IM night, so you know what that means : Nad and I (Rev. Mitcz) will be doing our usual "talk about random weird shit" thing, and we'll talk a little about recent goings-on, etc.

Other than that, pretty much anything goes - it's like a democratic show, where you vote on what the hell to talk about by IM'ing in whatever it is you wanna hear about. The questions can be anything from general questions about the show, about us, and/or just any random question whatsoever (sometimes the more ridiculous questions are the best).

So, a mutual friend of myself and Nad sent us his screenplay (more like screen outline, really) for this porno movie he wants to one day direct. At first, we were just thinking we'd read through it a little on-air. Now, we're thinking it'd probably be more fun to act it out. With puppets. Star Wars toys, really.
Yeah.. So, that's what's goin' down. It's mostly improv, but it should be amusing.
Of course, we'll also be taking IMs and it might end up being an IM night towards the end of the show, so there's kinda something for everyone.

RE-RUN Night

Long story short : I'm exceedingly tired and just don't have it in me to be amusing/witty/intelligent tonight. So, we won't be broadcasting a live show. I'm trying to setup a re-run of something amusing, and I think you'll enjoy it greatly, despite it being a re-run (and i doubt you've seen it, cause it's like 2 years old).

Movie Night

Tried to do this last night, but there were audio issues (that have since been resolved). So, here's the lowdown :

It's been awhile since we've done a movie night. But we're smack in the middle of the big summer movie season, and there's a bunch of weird movies on the way. So, tonight, Nad and I will be sitting down to discuss movies we've seen this year, movies coming soon, and movies coming up sometime about a year from now.

And, yes, we'll definitely be covering the "ohgoodfuckno... don't make THAT movie" movies.

HORSE the Band interview + LIVE performance

HORSE the Band is coming into the studio for a LIVE interview AND performance! This will actually be the first Aural Salvation show in the new studio to feature a live band - and we're erect with joy to welcome HORSE the Band as our inaugural band to play live on our show since the move to the new studio.

On their MySpace page, HTB says "We will be interviewed. We will play song and dance. You can IM us all your dumb questions! And, perhaps even more surprises that only H the B would think to do on live television."

We have no idea what that means, but.. we're looking forward to it.

Metal Nostalgia Night

Not sure if this will become any kind of a "regular" event here at AS, but we're giving it a shot tonight cause it feels like a fun thing to do.

It's Metal Nostalgia Night. For our premiere segment, we've decided (based on a suggestion from Nad) to look over VH-1's "Top 40 Metal Songs of All Time" and give our opinions on their picks, what they left out, what they should've left out, and how similar (or dissimilar) the opinions are.
